The Rev. Harry H. Hoehler Minister Emeritus A native of Pennsylvania, Harry served as minister of First Parish from 1964 until retiring in 1995. He previously served churches in Milton and Beverly, Mass. A former president of the Massachusetts Council of Churches and of the Massachusetts Bible Society, he has been an active participant in ecumenical affairs. During the Hoehler years the Church School wing was constructed, the Roxbury-Weston Pre-School was founded, and sister church relationships were begun with the Theodore Parker Church in West Roxbury and the Unitarian Church in Torda, Romania.
