1698 Church "gathered" as Puritan town church    
(farmers parish of Watertown)
1700 First meeting house in use
1713 Town of Weston established
1722 Second meeting house built
1801 Paul Revere bell installed
1822 First Sunday school opens
1830 Gradual shift to Unitarian theology started  
1840 Third meeting house built
1841 Ladies' Benevolent Society organized
1875 Town placed town clock on church
1879 Voluntary system replaced tax assessment
1888 Fourth meeting house finished
(present stone church)
1899 Tiffany window installed
(west end of sanctuary)
1913 Conant Road parsonage built
1918 Transept provided more space for choir
1918 Hook and Hastings organ installed
1924 Parish House completed
1930 Sears Memorial Chapel completed
1953 Connick window installed above altar
(east end of sanctuary)
1966 Roxbury-Weston Preschool opened
1968 New wing built and breezeway enclosed
1991 New name adopted:
  The First Parish Church in Weston
1998 Memorial Garden established
2000 "It's Our Turn" Capital Campaign – a three-year campaign to finance $1.5 million in renovations to the church facilities
2002 Sears Chapel Organ rebuilt by Nobscot Organ Company
2004 Benevolent Alliance disbands
2010 Sanctuary Organ rebuilt and enhanced with a digital capability by Marshall & Ogletree Associates, Inc.
